For this reason, a seamless end scallop can be achieved with a completely covered buttercream cake. It is also recommended to keep a 1\/2cm spacing between the scallops to create that perfect start to finish spacing between scallops. As each person varies on the amount of buttercream they use to cover their cakes, a perfectly seamless scallop line up may not always be achievable.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUse the ruler guides to ensure each scallop height is positioned identically to the previous scallop.
