SHIPPING & RETURNS
Please note: Shipping and dispatch operations are conducted on business days only (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
Orders placed after midday (12:00pm AEST/AEDT) will be processed the next business day.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on parcel size, weight, destination, and selected shipping method.
Orders up to 5kg are eligible for capped shipping rates of up to $18.95, however we will always aim to provide the lowest available shipping price based on your order and delivery location.
Orders exceeding 5kg (dead weight or cubic weight, whichever is greater) may incur additional shipping charges.
At checkout, you may be offered a range of shipping options, including Australia Post Standard and Australia Post Express services. Available services and pricing will vary depending on your location and parcel details.
Express Shipping
Express shipping is provided via Australia Post Express Post network.
While Express Post is the fastest available shipping option, delivery timeframes are not guaranteed and may be impacted by carrier delays, peak periods, weather events, or other circumstances outside of our control.
Please note that Australia Post does not permit aerosol products to be shipped via Express Post. Any orders containing aerosol items will be sent using standard shipping services.
Dispatch & Delivery
Most items are held in stock and ready for dispatch.
We aim to dispatch all orders within 24–48 business hours after payment has been received.
Orders placed during promotional periods, holidays, or peak trading times may experience slightly longer dispatch times.
In rare cases, products may become unavailable before inventory updates occur. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible and provide a refund or suitable alternative where applicable.
Most orders are shipped via Australia Post. Delivery to P.O. Boxes is available.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information.
Click & Collect
Click & Collect is available from all My Dream Cake store locations. Please select your preferred pickup location during checkout and wait until you receive confirmation that your order is ready for collection.

International Shipping
Unfortunately, we currently only ship within Australia.
Any international orders placed through our website will be cancelled and refunded.
Please note: Shipping terms do not apply to fresh cakes, custom cakes, or decorated cupcake orders. Delivery pricing for these items is calculated separately at the time of booking.
RETURNS PROCESS
Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch for a full refund. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes to your order.
Unless otherwise agreed, return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Returns must be requested within 30 days of purchase.
For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns, refunds, or exchanges on edible products.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
My Dream Cake makes no representation that the content of this website complies with the laws of jurisdictions outside Australia. Users accessing this website from outside Australia do so at their own risk and are responsible for complying with applicable local laws.
