One bag, a whole week of white mud cakes in every colour you can dream up. This 5kg bag bakes into a moist crumb with a creamy flavour, the same recipe as the 1kg Rich White Mud in a size made for busy kitchens. Just add eggs, water and vegetable oil.

Tint one batch blush pink for a baby shower, another sky blue for a first birthday, and keep a plain batch for a fondant-covered wedding tier. Flavour it with lemon, coconut or freeze-dried strawberry, and you'll have a different cake on the order board every day of the week.

Directions for Use

You'll need (per 1kg of mix): 1kg cake mix, 200g eggs (approx. 4 medium eggs), 265ml water, 140ml vegetable oil.

1. Preheat oven to 150°C.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the oil and water. Add the cake mix and eggs and mix on low speed for 1 minute, then scrape down the sides.
3. Increase to high speed and mix for 2 minutes, then scrape down again.
4. Mix on medium speed for a further 2 minutes (don't overmix).
5. Pour into a tin lined with baking paper, leaving 2 to 3cm of space at the top. For best results, cover the tin with foil.
6. Bake at 150°C until fully baked. Times may vary depending on your oven.

• 8x3" round tin (1kg mix): approx. 120 minutes
• 10x3" round tin (2kg mix): approx. 160 minutes
