Collection: Isomalt

Isomalt is a sugar substitute that melts clear and sets hard, used for sugar work and decorations. Heat it until it liquifies, then pour, mould, or pull it to make gems, shards, sails, and glass-effect showpieces. It resists crystallising better than ordinary sugar, so it stays clear and holds its shape once set. Work it in small batches and add colour as it melts for tinted decorations.
