This hands-on gingerbread house workshop will teach you how to construct and decorate both a medium and mini gingerbread cottage using a combination of fondant and royal icing techniques. 

You’ll learn practical tips for working with gingerbread dough, creating neat and even pieces, constructing your cottages and adding beautiful Christmas decorations to bring your gingerbread houses to life. 

Whether you’re looking to learn a new Christmas baking skill, create a festive centrepiece or simply enjoy a fun and creative Christmas activity, this class is a great way to get ready for the holiday season. 

What You’ll Learn

● How to roll and cut gingerbread dough to achieve an even thickness

● How to construct one medium and one mini gingerbread cottage

● How to decorate a mini gingerbread house using fondant

● How to decorate a medium gingerbread house using royal icing

● How to pipe royal icing to create Christmas decorations and details

● How to use fondant moulds to create decorative elements

● Techniques for assembling and decorating gingerbread cottages
