Vegan Cake Mix 12.5kg - Bakels

A bulk 12.5kg bag for cafés, bakeries and caterers who keep vegan cakes on the menu every day. The batter is made to carry inclusions, so one base can cover a whole range of flavours.

Use it for daily vegan loaves, cupcakes for catering platters or plant-based layer cakes for custom orders. Bake one batch with raspberries and lemon zest and another with dairy-free choc chips, and you have two menu items from the same bag.

Ingredients: Sugar, Wheat Flour, Faba Bean Protein, Thickener (1412, 1440, 1442), Natural Flavour, Raising Agents (450, 500), Vegetable Gum (464), Salt, Preservative (202), Emulsifier (481), Natural Colour.

Directions for Use

You'll need (per 1kg of mix): 460ml water (amount may vary), 240ml vegetable oil.

1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
2. Place the water, oil and dry mix into a bowl.
3. Blend on low speed for 1 minute, then scrape down.
4. Blend on medium speed for 6 minutes, then on low speed for 1 minute.
5. Scale 450g of batter into small loaf tins lined with baking paper.
6. Bake. Times may vary depending on your oven.

• 450g - 1kg: approx. 40 to 60 minutes

Storage: Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
